Astronomical Image Processing System (AIPS)

Astronomical Image Processing System (AIPS) is primarily for interactive calibration and editing of data from radio astronomy interferometers and for the construction, enhancement, display, and analysis of images made from those data; also for analysis and comparison with images observed with other instruments and at other wave bands (optical, etc.).
